David 444 Posted April 14, 2018 The rules... a topic nobody wants to talk about yet it's something that has to be mentioned and preferably read by every player. Just take a quick gander at the rules so you're at least familiar with them if you're a new player. Once you look at them once or twice you'll find we're quite fair and not at all unreasonable. When it comes to punishments per rule that's up to staff to decide depending on the situation, any and all staff decisions are final. Rules and things we do not approve of: In-Game 1. Inappropriate Behaviour (incl. scamming) Spoiler Rule 1. Inappropriate Behaviour All of these illicit activities are against our rules and will lead to a punishment. These activities include but are not limited to: Auto-Type or any other form of Spamming, any form of Scamming, Ragging, Boosting in any way. All of the activities listen own below count as inappropriate behaviour and are strictly against our rules. Not having read the rules is NOT an excuse to be doing any of these and you can still get punished for this. Ragging Threatening Scamming Swapping duel rules Repetitive Hate & Flame Racism Staff bashing repeatedly Impersonating Staff Advertising Harassing Running Over Fights Boosting (Elo or killstreak) 2. Real World Trading Spoiler Rule 2. Real World Trading Swapping money is in no way allowed unless done with the owner or any admin. We don't allow swapping from 1 RSPS to another either nor will any admin or owner swap with you like that. Selling Gold for items on another game non-runescape related is also not allowed. 3. Account Sharing & The Hijacking/Hacking of accounts Spoiler Rule 3. (Account Sharing & Hijacking) Account sharing, now account sharing is one of the most controversial topics that we'll be discussing since players like to do it for various reasons. We can tell you it's not allowed but it won't stop anybody from account sharing. Although it's not against any rules to account share we still highly recommend you do NOT account share. If you decide to still account share against our advice you will not be able to recover it if it ends up getting hacked nor will you be able to get your punishments lifted since we can't tell if you're the accounts owner or not. Hijacking/Hacking accounts is also strictly against the rules and will result in a permanent ban no questions asked. 0 Tolerance for hackers. 4. Bug Abuse Spoiler Rule 4. Bug Abuse Any and all bug abuse is strictly forbidden. You risk your account by abusing a bug even if you didn't profit anything off of it. Instead of abusing it fill out a bug report on the forums rather than abusing it so we can get it fixed and potentially grant you an in-game reward. 5. Macros/Bots/3rd Party Software Spoiler Rule 5. Macros/Bots/3rd Party Software Any third party software/hardware that gives you an unfair advantage or influences the game in any way shape or form is strictly against the rules and will get you your account reset. You also risk further punishment depending on the severity of the offense. You are however allowed to use an auto-typer as long as you don't spam it. VPN's/Proxies to vote are against the rules and can get you your account reset. 6. DDoSing / IP Leaks. Spoiler Rule 6. DDoSing DDoSing is a severe offense which is not only against our rules its also a real-life crime. Any form of DDoSing or IP leaking will earn you an immediate ban no questions asked. 7. Luring Spoiler Rule 7. Luring Luring is NOT something we take lightly. This includes If you lure via Yell or via the main clan chat, doing this will risk you getting muted and or jailed. 8. Using fraudulent accounts or credit cards to donate Spoiler Rule 8. Using fraudulent accounts or credit cards to donate Using a fake PayPal with scammed money or fraudulent credit cards to donate to our RSPS is not only against our rules it's also illegal. We do not accept any donations made by illegal credit and will ban you on the spot if we find out you donated to us with fraudulent credit. Not only do you put us at risk, you also risk getting arrested over this. 9. Yell Rules Spoiler Rule 9. Yell Rules You aren't allowed to use any other language than English through the yell feature. Yells are seen by the entire server and shouldn't be of annoyance where another player can't read what you're saying. You aren't allowed to advertise clan-chats through the yell feature more than once per 8 minutes. Forums Rule 1. Flaming Spoiler Rule 1. Flaming Any form of flaming on the forums will result in your post being deleted and your account possibly being timed out for a certain amount of time. Racism is a form of flame that will get your account terminated. It doesn't matter what the circumstance is, whether it's you instigating the flame or you simply retaliating; flaming is not allowed. Rule 2. Spamming Spoiler Rule 2. Spamming Spamming is something we don't allow on the forums since we want to keep the forums as clean as possible. Double Posting is something we also don't allow and it's something we consider spamming, if you feel the need to post on a topic twice in a row you can edit your post instead. Rule 3. Gravedigging Spoiler Rule 3. Gravedigging To some the term "gravedigging" might be somewhat new so let me explain it to you here; Gravedigging is looking up old posts to comment on them to either boost your post count or bring that post back to life. After a certain period we simply don't want you posting on a topic so usually we end up locking it, if a topic isn't locked and you use it to boost post count this can be called gravedigging. It's not something we will ban your forums account for however we will give you a firm warning. If you do continue gravedigging after this warning you risk getting your account suspended for an indefinite amount of time.
